West Virginia Senate Passes Bill to Set State Standards for CCS

Earlier this week, the West Virginia Senate voted unanimously (33-0 with one absence) to pass legislation to set standards and practices for CO2 sequestration throughout the state – securing West Virginia’s early entry into CCS activity in the United States.

The bill passed the WV House of Delegates last week. The bill now heads to the desk of West Virginia Governor Jim Justice to be signed into law.
